In my BFA animated 3D short, I explore the theme of fear—particularly the fear of the "other" and the unknown—and its unsettling effect on our sense of security. By transforming the home, a place traditionally associated with safety, into a landscape of anxiety and danger, I reveal how our perceptions of refuge can become distorted by internal and external fears. Through blender and mocap I manipulate digital environments to blur the boundaries between reality and illusion, amplifying the psychological tension of encountering the unfamiliar. This work aims to provoke reflection on how our anxieties can erode our sense of safety and reshape our most intimate spaces into sources of unease.
