"Never Go Alone" centers around a 24-second found footage video I created for an advanced video class. Using free assets such as images, video, and audio in Premiere Pro, I aimed to convey the unsettling phenomenon of "no phone service" trails and forests in the Appalachian region. I felt compelled to explore this topic after discovering the alarming statistics of missing people in the state of Ohio, coupled with the eerie tales passed down by generations of locals. As a lover of horror and all things unsettling, I sought to express the fear and uncertainty that permeates these areas through my art.
