"Throwback Jam" is a 6-second motion graphic that I created for an advanced video class using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. Inspired by a commission I completed for a '90s tracksuit in a studio game, I embraced the colorful, nostalgic palette of the era that resonates with me as an older student. I aimed to capture the fun, playful energy of '90s culture while also exploring my own connection to this era and how it shapes my personal identity. Through my artwork, I seek to engage viewers and encourage them to reflect on their own relationship with cultural nostalgia and the role it plays in shaping who they are.
