Sprouts | 2023 | 600 x 600 | 3D Art
My digital piece 'Sprouts' I had done for Art 75 that depicts a character inspired by my childhood love for the video game Animal Crossing. The character and their clothing were created through 3D modeling, and I hand-painted the UV mapping using a drawing monitor to give the piece a personal touch. My primary aim for this project was to evoke feelings of happiness and nostalgia, reminiscent of my early mornings playing Animal Crossing before school or during Christmas breaks. I hope that through my work, the audience can feel the same joy and nostalgia I did as a child and can connect on a personal level with the character and the emotions it evokes. The creation process was incredibly fulfilling, and I believe it demonstrates my technical skills and artistic vision.
